Apple Celebrates Pride with New Sport Band, Watch Face, and Wallpapers

Ahead of Pride Month in June, Apple has unveiled its vibrant 2025 Pride Edition collection, underscoring its ongoing commitment to the LGBTQ+ community. The new lineup includes a uniquely designed Sport Band for Apple Watch, a matching dynamic watch face, and coordinating wallpapers for iPhone and iPad.

The Pride Edition Sport Band showcases a fresh design featuring a tapestry of rainbow stripes that vary in shape and size. Each band is meticulously assembled by hand using individual, brightly colored strips of high-performance fluoroelastomer. These strips are then compression-molded together, resulting in subtle yet striking variations, ensuring that no two bands are exactly alike. This thoughtful design reflects the individuality and diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. Adding a touch of detail, the innovative pin-and-tuck closure of the band is laser-etched with the message “Designed with pride in California.”

Complementing the new band is the Pride Harmony watch face for Apple Watch. This face features bold, individual rainbow stripes that dynamically shift across the display. As the wearer raises their wrist, these stripes fluidly transform to form large, easily readable hour numerals. This dynamic interaction adds a playful and engaging element to telling time.

To further personalize the Apple experience, Apple has also introduced new Pride Harmony wallpapers for iPhone and iPad. These wallpapers mirror the design of the watch face, with colors that subtly change their positioning as users interact with their devices – whether they are moving, locking, or unlocking them. This creates a sense of continuous motion and visual interest.

The design of this year’s Pride collection thoughtfully incorporates the colors of multiple Pride flags. In addition to the traditional rainbow colors, black and brown stripes honor Black and Latin communities, as well as those impacted by HIV/AIDS. Light blue, pink, and white stripes represent transgender and non-binary individuals, creating a design that is both celebratory and inclusive. The arrow-like shape integrated into the wallpaper design symbolizes inclusive forward movement and progress.

The Pride Edition Sport Band is priced at ₹4500 and is available for order starting today through apple.com/in and the Apple Store app. It will also be available at physical Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers starting next week. The band comes in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes, catering to both S/M and M/L wrist lengths, and is compatible with most Apple Watch models.

The matching Pride Harmony watch face will be available for download for free through the Apple Watch app, the Apple Store app, or directly from apple.com/in. The Pride Harmony wallpapers for iPhone and iPad will be accessible with the upcoming software updates, iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5.
