“Housefull 5” Generates Significant Buzz with Over Rs 5 Crore in Pre-Sale Ahead of June 6 Release

Akshay Kumar‘s highly anticipated comedy-drama, “Housefull 5,” is creating a considerable stir at the box office even before its official release. The film has reportedly grossed over Rs 5 crore in advance bookings, showcasing the enduring appeal of the popular franchise and the star power of its lead actor, Akshay Kumar. “Housefull 5” is set to hit theaters worldwide on June 6, 2025.

The fifth installment of the beloved “Housefull” series has garnered strong pre-release momentum, with industry trackers indicating impressive ticket sales. As of Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the film has sold close to 70,000 tickets for over 9,600 shows across India, contributing to a gross collection of over Rs 2.12 crore from advance sales alone. When factoring in block seats and corporate bookings, the estimated opening day gross is projected to exceed Rs 5.67 crore, signifying a robust start for the comedy caper.

“Housefull 5” is poised to be the widest release in the franchise’s history, with screenings planned across more than 5,000 screens nationwide. The film’s advance bookings have been particularly strong in key markets such as Maharashtra and the Delhi NCR region, followed closely by Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Telangana. Cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune are leading in terms of the number of screenings allocated for the movie.
