New Delhi, December 05, 2025: In a direct address to her fans, actress-filmmaker Divya Khosla has firmly denied ongoing rumours about her divorce from T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar, while also making a strong statement about the toxic environment she perceives in the film industry. Her candid comments came during an interactive ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) session on a social media platform.

Setting the Record Straight on Marriage

For months, speculation about a potential separation between Divya Khosla and Bhushan Kumar—who married in 2005—had circulated, particularly after the actress dropped the ‘Kumar’ surname from her social media handle. During the Q&A, a fan bluntly asked, “Are you divorced?”

Divya’s response was sharp and clear, aimed squarely at the constant media scrutiny. “No, But the media really wants it,” she stated, effectively silencing the separation rumours that have followed the couple. Previously, a spokesperson for T-Series had explained that her decision to modify her name, including dropping ‘Kumar’ and adding an extra ‘s’ to her maiden surname (now Khossla), was driven by astrological beliefs and was not an indication of any marital discord.

Calling Out Industry Toxicity

Beyond her personal life, Divya Khosla used the platform to express her views on the competitive and often challenging nature of Bollywood. When asked how she maintains her mental health amidst the industry’s toxicity and pressure, her reply painted a vivid picture of the struggle for authenticity.

“I myself feel that Bollywood is a place where there are crocodiles all around and you feel like you are navigate your way through it,” she said. This powerful metaphor highlights the perceived dangers and cutthroat environment she faces.

Prioritising Soul Over Success

Divya further elaborated on her philosophy for survival in this highly competitive space, emphasising the importance of integrity and good karma.

“I think the most imp thing is to remain true to your own self. I will never sell my soul to get work,” she asserted. She conveyed a message of professional balance and self-respect, suggesting that work opportunities are welcome, but not at the cost of personal values. “If opportunities come, great. If they don’t, that’s fine too,” she added, highlighting her commitment to carrying a “good slate of karma” above all else.

Divya Khosla’s recent statements serve as a dual message: a decisive confirmation that her marriage with Bhushan Kumar remains intact, and a critique of the environment in which she operates, where she believes media attention often fuels unnecessary personal drama.
