Madhya Pradesh: Bageshwar Dham and its Mahant Dhirendra Krishna Shastri are in news recently. Self-styled godman Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, also known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar or ‘Baba’ of the temple, ran away after a Marathi superstition-fighting organisation challenged him to demonstrate his incredible power in its Satsang. But Shastri reportedly declined.  Dhirendra Krishna Shastri videos are going viral, and #बागेश्वर_धाम_सरकार Bageshwar Dham is trending on Twitter now.

Following this incident, Shashtri claimed it was a conspiracy and summoned the committee to his Raipur court on January 20-21. The BJP’s Kapil Mishra has defended Shastri in the latest controversy, claiming that he is being attacked because he has stopped religious conversion. Mishra tweeted on Twitter that the anti-national and anti-Hindu gang was bound to get a stomach ache.

Dhirendra 26, Madhya Pradesh’s self-styled godman, is associated with the Bageshwar Dham temple in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Shastri has a large following of people who believe in his miraculous abilities. Shastri born in 1996, rose to prominence after his followers claimed he could read minds. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is known to have organised ‘Ghar wapsi’ of many. The Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti has accused the Maharaj of Bageshwar Dham of encouraging superstition and has called for police action.

Dr Narendra Dabholkar (67) founded the Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti, an anti-superstition organisation. Dabholkar was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants while out for a morning walk in Pune on August 20, 2013. The attackers were allegedly affiliated with the radical Hindu organisation Sanatan Sanstha.

On Thursday, a video of Bageshwar Dham Sarkar went viral in which Shastri said that he did not flee Nagpur. Whoever wants to witness his miracle can come to Raipur. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, in another video, said he does not have any miraculous power and has nothing to prove. “I am just a servant at the feet of Bageshwar Balaji. I do as he inspires me,” he said in the video.

Mumbai: Jayvijay Sachan is a stand-up comedian and mimicry artist. He is well known for his amazing skills and comic talent. In 2022, he came into the limelight after appearing in Sony Tv’s stand-up comedy show India Laughter Champion.

Jayvijay Sachan recalls receiving compliments from Raju Srivastava. He said, “Raju ji had come on our show as a guest judge, but I did not get a chance to meet him as I was not performing in that episode. Later, his manager called me and I happened to speak to Raju ji. He complimented me on my work and praised me. He knew about my past work. Mumbai: The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited Pathaan has finally come out. The Siddharth Anand film has Shah Rukh opposite Deepika Padukone, while John Abraham plays the antagonist. With Pathaan, Shah Rukh makes his much-awaited comeback as a leading man, following his tragic 2018 outing in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. Pathaan is scheduled to release in the theatres on January 25.

The trailer starts with John Abraham using a bazooka, before Dimple Kapadia is seen saying that the terror outfit is planning an attack on India, with her adding, “Abhi Pathaan ka vanvas ka time khatam huya.” The trailer soon sees Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan shooting a volley of bullets and taking over a chopper. The trailer also shows Deepika as a soldier who asks him to team up with her.

Earlier, every account had a blue tick, but now there is a development in which some accounts have turned Gold. Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before the check activates.

 Earlier on 26 November, CEO Elon Musk, took to the microblogging site to make the announcement. “Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week,” he had posted. He had earlier tweeted about the usage of different colors for different organizations and individuals but fleshed out the details just recently.

 The microblogging platform’s ‘Twitter Blue’ subscriptions rolled out despite warnings from Twitter’s trust and safety staff. Soon afterwards, numerous ‘verified’ accounts began to impersonate well-known personalities or brands. The chaos began with a fake Nintendo account, which posted the image of the well-known game character Mario raising a middle finger at the Twitter bird.

 Musk had taken the matter into his own hands and tweeted that any account that tried to impersonate someone else would be disabled unless its user declared it as a parody account. Coming to the current multi-colored verification system, Musk called it ‘painful, but necessary’. He claimed that a ‘longer explanation’ of how the system would work would come out ‘next week’.

The world’s richest man made changes to the company’s daily operations, which included firing two-thirds of Twitter’s workforce in addition to executives who were in charge of the platform’s censorship, privacy, and cyber security.
