Meerut: A fire erupted in a residence in Golden Colony, Meerut, after an electric scooter exploded while charging, leaving six people injured.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the electric scooter, which was being charged inside the house, malfunctioned and caught fire. The flames quickly spread, engulfing a nearby petrol scooter and causing significant damage to the property.
Among the injured are Mohammad Shahjad, his wife, and their daughter. All six individuals were promptly rescued and rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
While no formal complaint has been filed at this time, local police have stated they are prepared to investigate any potential foul play should suspicions arise
