The Pokémon GO “Growing Up” event is now live, running from May 2nd to May 7th, 2025. Trainers can participate in various activities, including Field Research tasks, a Premium Timed Research quest, and a Collection Challenge.

Field Research Tasks:

During the event, trainers can engage in Field Research tasks that offer encounters with the following Pokémon:

• Magikarp (with a chance to be shiny)
• Wailmer (with a chance to be shiny)
• Swablu (with a chance to be shiny)
• Wimpod (with a chance to be shiny)

Premium Timed Research:

For $4.99, players can access the Premium Timed Research, which grants access to exclusive rewards, including encounters with:

• Magikarp
• Swablu
• Wailmer
• Wimpod
• Pinap Berries
• Incubator
• Rookidee
• Lucario

Collection Challenge:

While the specifics of the Collection Challenge are yet to be fully revealed, players can anticipate encountering several evolving Pokémon. Completing the challenge will likely reward trainers with Stardust, XP, or rare items.
