The Indian smartphone market is buzzing with anticipation as iQOO has officially started teasing the arrival of its latest mid-premium offering, the iQOO Neo 10. Following the successful launch of the iQOO Neo 10R earlier this year, the company is gearing up to expand its popular Neo series with a device that promises a potent combination of performance and features.

Teasers released by iQOO India on social media platforms and e-commerce portals like Amazon India offer a glimpse of what enthusiasts can expect. The initial look reveals a striking orange and white dual-tone design on the phone’s rear panel, housing a dual-camera setup. Notably, the teasers highlight a “Dual Chip Power” configuration, a feature reminiscent of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. This has sparked speculation that the iQOO Neo 10 will be equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 System-on-Chip (SoC) alongside iQOO’s proprietary Q1 independent graphics chip. This dual-chip approach suggests a strong focus on gaming performance, with the dedicated graphics chip potentially enhancing frame rates, providing smoother gameplay, and improving thermal efficiency.

Industry insiders and previous reports suggest that the iQOO Neo 10 could be a rebranded or slightly tweaked version of the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, which recently debuted in China. If this holds true, Indian consumers can anticipate a feature-rich device boasting a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, ideal for immersive visuals and fluid scrolling. To keep thermals in check during intensive tasks like gaming, a 7K VC liquid cooling system is also expected.

Photography enthusiasts might appreciate the anticipated dual rear camera system, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharper, more stable images and videos. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens is also likely to be part of the setup, offering versatility in capturing different perspectives. While the Chinese variant features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, there’s a possibility that the Indian version could inherit the 32-megapixel selfie shooter from the iQOO Neo 10R.

Powering the device is rumored to be a substantial 7,000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage. Complementing this large battery is the expectation of blazing-fast 120W charging support, allowing users to quickly replenish the battery and get back in action. The iQOO Neo 10 is also speculated to come with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, adding to its durability. On the software front, the device will likely run on FunTouch OS 15 based on the latest Android 15.

The iQOO Neo 10’s launch in India is strategically timed in a dynamic smartphone market. Recent reports indicate a cautious start to 2025, with overall shipments experiencing a slight year-on-year decline in the first quarter. However, there’s a noticeable trend towards premiumization, with consumers increasingly opting for devices in the mid to high-price segments. iQOO has traditionally positioned its Neo series aggressively, offering flagship-level features at competitive prices. The Neo 10 is expected to follow this trend, potentially placing it in the sub-₹40,000 segment, directly competing with other popular devices in this category.

The official teasers confirm that the iQOO Neo 10 will be available for purchase on Amazon India, in addition to iQOO’s official online store. While the exact launch date remains under wraps, the teasers suggest an unveiling later this month. As the launch draws nearer, more details regarding the phone’s specifications, pricing, and available configurations for the Indian market are expected to surface, further fueling the anticipation among smartphone enthusiasts. The iQOO Neo 10 is poised to be a strong contender in the Indian mid-premium segment, offering a compelling blend of performance, features, and aggressive pricing that iQOO has become known for.
