Hyderabad is buzzing with excitement as “National Crush” Rashmika Mandanna has officially commenced shooting for her highly anticipated pan-India film, ‘Mysaa‘. The project, a high-octane emotional action thriller, was launched today with a traditional muhurat ceremony in Hyderabad, marking a significant new chapter in the actress’s career.

‘Mysaa’ promises to present Rashmika in a never-before-seen avatar, taking on the transformative and challenging role of a Gond tribal woman. The first-look poster, released a month prior, had already set the internet ablaze, showcasing a fierce, blood-smeared Rashmika with wild hair and wielding a sword, hinting at the raw intensity and cultural depth her character will embody. She herself expressed her nervousness and excitement about this new venture, stating it’s a role and world she has never stepped into before.

The grand muhurat ceremony was attended by the film’s core team and esteemed personalities from the industry. Veteran producer Suresh Babu gave the ceremonial clap, while director Ravi Kiran Kola switched on the camera. Director Hanu Raghavapudi, a mentor to debutant director Rawindra Pulle, handed over the script and directed the auspicious muhurat shot, adding to the gravitas of the event.

Produced by Unformula Films, ‘Mysaa’ is being mounted on a grand scale with a substantial budget, underlining the makers’ vision for a compelling cinematic experience. The film is touted to be an emotionally charged action thriller deeply rooted in the rich culture and visually captivating world of the Gond tribes.

The technical team behind ‘Mysaa’ is equally impressive. Cinematography will be handled by Shreyaas P Krishna, known for his work on Suriya’s ‘Retro’, ensuring a striking visual narrative. The action sequences, which are expected to be a highlight of the film, will be choreographed by the internationally acclaimed stunt director Andy Long, whose recent work includes the highly anticipated ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.

Regular shooting for ‘Mysaa’ is set to begin tomorrow in Hyderabad, with Rashmika Mandanna joining the cast from the very first schedule. Fans are eagerly awaiting more announcements from Unformula Films, particularly regarding the film’s music director and other key crew details.

‘Mysaa’ is set to be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it a true pan-India release. With its intriguing premise, a powerhouse performer like Rashmika Mandanna in a challenging role, and a strong technical team, ‘Mysaa’ is certainly a project to watch out for.
