The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the admit cards for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) undergraduate-level Computer Based Test (CBT) 1, with exams scheduled to begin on August 7, 2025. This marks a crucial step for the millions of candidates who applied for the 3,445 vacancies.
The RRB NTPC has adopted a phased approach to the release of admit cards. The e-call letters for candidates with exams on August 7 and 8 have been made available from August 4, 2025. For subsequent exam dates, candidates should note that their admit cards will be released four days prior to their specific exam date.
The CBT 1 for undergraduate posts will be conducted from August 7 to September 9, 2025. To facilitate travel arrangements for candidates, the RRB had previously released the exam city and date intimation slips on July 29, 2025. This slip provides details about the exam city, date, shift, and reporting time. It is important for candidates to understand that this city intimation slip is not the admit card and will not be accepted as valid for entry into the examination hall.
Candidates can download their admit cards by following these simple steps:
The admit card is a vital document and contains important information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, and the full address of the exam center.
In addition to the admit card, candidates must also bring a valid photo identity proof in original (such as an Aadhar Card, Voter ID, or Passport) and a passport-sized color photograph, identical to the one uploaded during the application process.
For candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories who opted for the free travel pass, the travel authority details will also be included in the admit card. They must carry the original category certificate along with the e-call letter to avail of the free travel facility.
Candidates are strongly advised to reach the exam center at least 30-45 minutes before the reporting time to complete the mandatory biometric verification and other formalities. No candidate will be allowed entry after the gate closing time. It is essential to read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully to avoid any last-minute issues
