Hero MotoCorp has officially launched the highly anticipated Hero Glamour X 125, a motorcycle poised to redefine the 125cc commuter segment in India. Moving beyond the traditional focus on just mileage and practicality, the new Glamour X 125 arrives with a bold, sporty design and a suite of advanced features, many of which are a first in its class.

Performance and Engine

The Glamour X 125 is powered by an updated 124.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the same refined unit that powers the Hero Xtreme 125R. This engine produces 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The power output is a slight but significant increase over the previous generation, and the engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox. Hero has also incorporated a silent cam chain and an engine balancer to ensure a smooth and vibration-free ride, enhancing the overall comfort for the rider.

Segment-First Technology and Features

The biggest talking point of the new Glamour X 125 is its array of cutting-edge technology, typically reserved for premium, higher-capacity motorcycles. The Drum variant is priced at Rs. 89,999 (ex-showroom), while the Disc variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in five colors, with specific shades allocated to each variant.
