New Delhi – Hero MotoCorp, a leader in the two-wheeler segment, has set a new benchmark in the 125cc commuter motorcycle category with the launch of its latest model, the Hero Glamour X 125. This new bike introduces features previously unseen in this class, including an advanced cruise control system and a full-color TFT display, making it a compelling option for riders seeking both style and technology.
The Hero Glamour X 125 comes with a fresh, sharp design and an athletic silhouette that gives it a premium and modern look. Its standout feature is the addition of cruise control, a technology typically found in higher-end motorcycles. This feature aims to enhance rider comfort, especially during long commutes or highway travel.
Powering the motorcycle is a refined 124.7cc single-cylinder engine. This unit is capable of producing 11.4 bhp of power and 10.5 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth 5-speed gearbox. This configuration ensures a balanced performance, offering a good mix of city maneuverability and highway cruising ability.
One of the most significant upgrades is the all-new color TFT display, which provides a wealth of information at a glance. This digital cluster is complemented by Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to receive call and SMS alerts and access turn-by-turn navigation directly on the screen. The inclusion of a USB Type-C charging port addresses the modern rider’s need to keep their devices charged on the go.
For enhanced safety, the Glamour X 125 is equipped with an all-LED lighting system and a Combined Braking System (CBS), which provides synchronized braking force to both wheels for stable and effective stopping. The bike also features a ride-by-wire throttle with three distinct modes—Eco, Road, and Power—giving riders the flexibility to adjust performance according to their riding style and conditions.
The Hero Glamour X 125 is being offered in two variants to cater to different customer preferences. The drum brake variant is priced at ₹90,000 (ex-showroom), while the disc brake variant comes with a price tag of ₹1,00,000 (ex-showroom). The color options further differentiate the models, with the drum variant available in Matt Magnetic Silver and Candy Blazing Red, and the disc variant offered in Metallic Nexus Blue, Black Teal Blue, and Black Pearl Red.
With the launch of the Glamour X 125, Hero MotoCorp is not just introducing a new motorcycle but is also reshaping expectations for the commuter segment by integrating premium features and technology, solidifying its position in the Indian two-wheeler market.
