Tourists Apprehended After Attempted Escape

New Delhi, October 27, 2025: A group of tourists has been recently intercepted by authorities following an attempt to flee a hotel without settling a significant bill incurred for food and accommodation. The incident, which took place in the Abu Road area of Sirohi, Rajasthan, involved the patrons absconding after a total amount of ₹10,900 had been amassed for their services. A video recording of the subsequent confrontation and apprehension has since gone viral on various social media platforms.

The Reckless Act and Swift Response

It has been reported that the group, consisting of two young men and a woman, had initially enjoyed their stay at the establishment, which included having a substantial meal. The tourists then tried to leave the hotel premises in their vehicle without making the required payment. The owner of the establishment, having realized the group’s intention to evade the bill, was immediately alerted, and a complaint was swiftly lodged with the local police.

Prompt action was taken by the police, and a joint pursuit with the hotel owner was initiated. The accused were successfully apprehended near the Ambaji Road in Abu Road. The moments following their capture were captured on video, where the individuals were questioned regarding their refusal to pay the bill.
