New Delhi, February 19, 2026: Nissan India has officially entered the affordable seven-seater segment with the launch of the all-new Nissan Gravite. Aimed at the heart of the Indian family car market, the Gravite arrives with an aggressive introductory price starting at Rs. 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Gravite is the first major launch under Nissan’s renewed “India Resurgence” strategy, positioning itself as a direct and formidable competitor to the Renault Triber and entry-level variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
Nissan Gravite: Variant-Wise Pricing
The Gravite is available in four core trim levels—Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, and Tekna—with both manual and AMT (EZ-Shift) gearbox options.

| Tekna Launch Edition | 5-Speed AMT | Rs. 8.93 Lakh |
Design and Exterior Styling
While the Gravite shares its CMF-A+ platform with the Renault Triber, Nissan has given it a distinct visual identity. The front fascia features a bold Piano Black grille with a honeycomb pattern and the signature Nissan logo.
Key exterior highlights include:
- Signature Lighting: LED headlamps with integrated L-shaped DRLs and crystal-edge LED tail lamps.
- Rugged Stance: Muscular wheel arches, functional roof rails (50kg load capacity), and a high ground clearance of 182 mm.
- Wheels: 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the higher trims, while the base variants get 14-inch steel wheels.
Interior, Space, and Versatility
The Gravite’s biggest selling point is its modular 7-seater layout. Nissan emphasizes “togetherness” with a cabin designed to be highly flexible.
- Modular Seating: The third row is completely removable, allowing the boot space to expand from 84 litres (7-seater mode) to a massive 625 litres (5-seater mode).
- Tech-Forward Cabin: It features an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 7-inch digital driver’s display.
- Passenger Comfort: The MPV includes a dual HVAC system with dedicated AC vents for all three rows, a cooled glovebox, and premium quilted suede upholstery.
Performance and Efficiency
Under the hood, the Nissan Gravite is powered by a reliable 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine.
- Power Output: 72 PS @ 6250 rpm
- Peak Torque: 96 Nm @ 3500 rpm
- Transmission: 5-speed Manual or 5-speed EZ-Shift (AMT).
- Fuel Economy: The manual variant delivers a claimed 19.3 kmpl, while the AMT version is slightly more efficient at 19.6 kmpl.
Nissan has also confirmed that a dual-cylinder CNG version will be introduced later this year to cater to fuel-conscious buyers.
Standard Safety Features
Nissan hasn’t compromised on safety, offering over 30 safety features across the range. Standard equipment includes:
- 6 Airbags (Standard across all variants)
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control (TCS)
- Hill Start Assist (HSA)
- TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)
- ISOFIX child seat mounts
Early Bird Benefits
To sweeten the deal, Nissan is offering the first 5,000 customers zero service costs for five years, loyalty rewards, and attractive finance schemes starting at an interest rate of 5.55%.
The Nissan Gravite is now available for booking at all authorized dealerships and on the Nissan India official website.
