Preity Zinta Sells Luxury Bandra Apartment for ₹18.5 Crore; Second Major Deal in Four Months

New Delhi, March 7, 2026 – Bollywood’s “Dimple Queen” Preity Zinta is making waves in the real estate circuit once again. The actress has reportedly sold a high-end residential apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill neighborhood for a staggering ₹18.5 crore. This transaction marks her second major property exit in the Bandra locality within a short span of just four months.

The deal, which was officially registered on March 2, 2026, highlights the soaring demand for premium redeveloped assets in one of India’s most expensive real estate micro-markets.

Key Details of the Transaction

According to property registration documents accessed via real estate analytics platform CRE Matrix, the sale involves a spacious apartment located on the 11th floor of the Rustomjee Parishram building on Nargis Dutt Road.

The apartment also comes with three dedicated car parking spaces, a luxury in the space-constrained lanes of Bandra.

A Product of Redevelopment

The property was not a conventional market purchase for the actress. Zinta originally owned a flat in the older structure of the building dating back to 1999. Under a redevelopment agreement between the housing society and Keystone Realtors (Rustomjee), the building was transformed into a modern luxury high-rise.

As part of the Permanent Alternate Accommodation (PAA) arrangement, Zinta was allotted this new, upgraded unit in April 2025. The transition from an older asset to a modern, high-value redeveloped apartment has allowed the actress to capitalize on the significant appreciation in Pali Hill’s property rates.

Strategy or Consolidation?

This sale follows a previous transaction in November 2025, where Zinta sold another 1,474 sq. ft. apartment on the same floor for over ₹14 crore. With two sales finalized within four months, she has liquidated property worth more than ₹32 crore in a single building.

Industry insiders suggest this could be part of a broader “buy-up” strategy. Reports indicate that Zinta may be looking to consolidate her funds to invest in a massive standalone bungalow or a larger ultra-luxury property in the Bandra area, potentially valued at around ₹100 crore.

Preity Zinta joins a long list of Bollywood A-listers actively reshuffling their real estate portfolios. In the last year, stars like Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have also made headlines for high-value sales and acquisitions.

The Pali Hill area remains a magnet for the elite due to its privacy, lush greenery, and proximity to the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). As redevelopment projects continue to modernize Mumbai’s skyline, many celebrities are finding it lucrative to trade their allotted units for newer, more expansive investments.
