To be declared ‘Pass’ in the Rajasthan Board 10th exams, a student must secure:
- Minimum 33% marks in each individual subject.
- Minimum 33% marks in the overall aggregate. The total score per subject is 100, which includes 80 marks for the theory paper and 20 marks for internal assessment/practicals. Students must score at least 26 out of 80 in theory and 6 out of 20 in internal assessments.
What’s Next After the Result?
- Original Marksheet: The online result is provisional. Students must collect their original hardcopy marksheets from their respective schools a few weeks after the declaration.
- Re-evaluation/Scrutiny: If a student is unhappy with their marks, the board will soon open the portal for re-checking or re-evaluation. A fee (expected to be around ₹300 per subject) is usually charged for this process.
- Supplementary Exams: Students who failed in one or two subjects will get an opportunity to save their academic year through the RBSE Supplementary Examinations, typically conducted in late May or June.
- Stream Selection: Successful students can now choose their preferred streams—Science, Commerce, or Arts—for Class 11.
Previous Year Trends
Last year (2025), the RBSE 10th result was declared on May 28 with an overall pass percentage of 93.60%. Historically, girls have consistently outperformed boys in the Rajasthan Board exams. This year, the board shifted the timeline significantly earlier to March to align with the national academic calendar.
