New Delhi, April 6, 2026 – The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is in the final stages of preparing the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Intermediate) results for 2026. According to the latest administrative updates, over 2.70 crore answer copies have already been evaluated, putting the board on track to declare the results by April 25, 2026.
The massive exercise, which involves the future of nearly 52 lakh students, has seen a slight adjustment in its timeline due to a series of public holidays. However, officials remain confident that the academic calendar will be maintained.
The evaluation of answer sheets began on March 18, 2026, across 250+ centers in Uttar Pradesh. While the board initially aimed to wrap up the checking process by April 1, the schedule was extended to April 4, 2026, to compensate for holidays including Eid-ul-Fitr and Ram Navami.
With the evaluation phase now concluded, the UP Board has moved into the “Data Processing” stage. This involves scanning OMR sheets and feeding marks into the digital systems.
Bhagwati Singh, Secretary of the UP Board, noted that the board typically requires 15 to 20 days post-evaluation to finalize the results. To expedite this, seven private firms have been entrusted with the roll-number-wise data entry and verification. This multi-layered process ensures that the results are both confidential and error-free before they are uploaded to the official servers.
Following the trends of the previous two years—where results were declared on April 25 (2025) and April 20 (2024)—students can expect the 2026 results between April 20 and April 25.
Once the official announcement is made, students can access their scorecards on the following official portals:
Note to Students: To check the result, you will need your Roll Number and School Code as mentioned on your admit card. The online result is provisional; original marksheets will be distributed through respective schools approximately 15–20 days after the online declaration.
To clear the UP Board exams, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject.
As the countdown begins, students and parents are advised to keep a close watch on the UPMSP official website for the formal notification regarding the exact date and time of the result declaration.
