April 28, 2026 — The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has officially declared the results for the Class 12 Higher Secondary (HS) Final Examinations 2026 today. Students who appeared for the examinations across Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams can now access their scorecards through the official board websites and dedicated result portals.
The results, announced at 10:30 AM, mark a significant academic milestone for over 3.3 lakh students who participated in the board exams held between February 11 and March 16, 2026.
This year’s results show a strong performance, particularly in the Science stream, which recorded the highest pass percentage among all disciplines. While the overall trend remains positive, the board has noted slight variations compared to the previous academic year.
| Stream | Pass Percentage (2026) |
| Science | 89.79% |
| Commerce | 81.13% |
| Arts | 79.54% |
| Vocational | 74.19% |
The Science stream has shown a marked improvement, rising significantly from its performance in 2025. While Arts and Commerce saw minor fluctuations in their pass rates, the overall performance across the state remains robust, reflecting the hard work of both students and educators.
Note on Merit Lists: In line with the growing trend among several education boards to reduce competitive pressure, the AHSEC has opted not to publish a formal, centralized merit or toppers list. Students are encouraged to focus on their individual accomplishments and personal academic growth.
With the official link now active, students can download their provisional marksheets immediately. Due to the high volume of traffic, official websites may occasionally experience slowdowns. If you face issues, please try one of the alternative platforms listed below.
