New Delhi, 6 August, 2025:(SBI)State Bank of India’s recruitment Online applications are being accepted for the State Bank of India’s drive for 6,589 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) positions. The application process, which commenced on August 6, 2025, is being conducted exclusively through the official SBI website, sbi.co.in. Aspiring candidates are advised to complete their applications by the last date, which has been set as August 26, 2025.
Aspirants are required to meet certain eligibility criteria to be considered for these vacancies. An age limit has been established, with candidates needing to be between 20 and 28 years old as of a specified date. Age relaxation is also being provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules. In terms of educational qualifications, a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university is a mandatory requirement. Those in their final year or semester are also permitted to apply provisionally, on the condition that proof of passing the examination is furnished by a specified date.

The selection process is a multi-stage procedure, consisting of an online preliminary examination, an online main examination, and a test of the specified local language. The preliminary examination will be a one-hour objective test, assessing English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates who clear the preliminary round will be called for the main examination, which will have a longer duration and will test their knowledge of General/Financial Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. A negative marking of 1/4th of the assigned marks will be applied for every incorrect answer in both the preliminary and main exams.
Finally, a test of the opted local language will be administered for provisionally selected candidates who have not studied the language in their 10th or 12th grade. A merit list will be prepared based on the aggregate marks scored in the main examination, and candidates will be placed according to their performance. No interview is being held for this recruitment. The probation period for selected candidates is set at six months, during which time a set of e-lessons must be completed.
