New Delhi, December 17, 2025: In a major boost for government job aspirants in the national capital, the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially activated the online registration link for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS). Starting today, December 17, 2025, eligible candidates can apply for 714 vacancies across various departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi.

The recruitment drive, announced under Advertisement No. 07/2025, offers a stable career path for those who have completed their matriculation. Interested candidates have until January 15, 2026, to submit their applications through the official portal.

Vacancy Details and Departmental Breakdown

The 714 posts are distributed among several key departments, including Excise, Labour, Drugs Control, and the Development Department.

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure a successful application, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed the Class 10 (Matriculation) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: The age range is 18 to 27 years (as of the closing date).
    • Note: Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-SM) as per government norms.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be appointed in Pay Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. The pay scale ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900, along with applicable allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection will be based on a One-Tier Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification.

The exam will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be completed in 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer. The syllabus covers:

  1. General Awareness
  2. General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability
  3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability
  4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension
  5. Test of English Language & Comprehension

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official DSSSB portal at dsssbonline.nic.in.
  2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if you haven’t already.
  3. Log in and select the “Multi-Tasking Staff” application link.
  4. Fill in the required personal and educational details.
  5. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and necessary documents.
  6. Pay the application fee (₹100 for General/OBC/EWS; Exempted for SC/ST, PwBD, and all female candidates).
  7. Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date, January 15, 2026, to avoid technical glitches due to high website traffic.
