How to Download the IOCL Admit Card 2026

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to iocl.com and navigate to the ‘Careers’ section.
  2. Select Refineries Division: Look for the link titled “Requirement of Non-Executive Personnel in Refineries Division – 2025-26.”
  3. Click Download Link: Select the link for “Download Call Letter for CBT scheduled on 30th Jan 2026.”
  4. Enter Credentials: Provide your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth as generated during the application process.
  5. Print & Save: Once the admit card appears on the screen, download the PDF and take a clear color printout.

Note: It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam center.

Exam Pattern and Selection Strategy

The CBT will consist of 100 objective-type questions. The paper is typically divided into two sections:

  • Technical Subject Knowledge: Approximately 75 questions focused on the candidate’s specific diploma/degree discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.).
  • General Aptitude: Approximately 25 questions covering General Awareness, Reasoning, and Basic English.

Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks (35% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) to be considered for the next stage, the Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT is qualifying in nature, meaning the final merit list will be primarily based on the CBT scores, provided the candidate passes the physical/skill assessments.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Reporting Time: Check your admit card for the exact reporting time and venue. Late entry will not be permitted.
  • Stationery: Follow the instructions on the admit card regarding allowed items; usually, only a ballpoint pen and ID are permitted.
  • COVID/Health Protocols: Ensure you follow any health guidelines mentioned in the “Information Handout” provided on the IOCL portal.

With 394 vacancies in one of India’s most prestigious Maharatna companies, competition is expected to be high. Candidates are encouraged to review their core engineering subjects and stay updated on recent developments in the energy sector.
