PSEB Punjab Board Class 12th Result 2025: Mohali Board to Announce Senior Secondary Examination Results Today at 3 PM

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), Mohali, is all set to declare the results for the Class 12th (Senior Secondary) examinations 2025 today, May 14, at 3:00 PM. This announcement brings an end to the anxious wait of the over 2.8 lakh students who appeared for the crucial board exams held between February 19 and April 4, 2025, across various centers in the state.  

Dr. Amar Pal Singh, Chairman of the PSEB, had earlier confirmed the result declaration date and time, assuring students and parents that all necessary arrangements have been finalized for a smooth result announcement process.  

Where and How to Check Your Result:

Once the results are declared, students can access their scores and download their provisional marksheets from the official website of the Punjab School Education Board: pseb.ac.in.  

To check their results, students will need to follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to pseb.ac.in.
2. Find the Result Link: On the homepage, look for the link that reads “PSEB Class 12th Result 2025” and click on it.  
3. Enter Your Details: You will be prompted to enter your roll number or your full name as mentioned on your admit card.
4. Submit the Information: After filling in the required details, click on the “Submit” button.
5. View and Download Result: Your provisional marksheet will appear on the screen. You can then download it and save a copy for future reference. It is advisable to take a printout as well.

The online marksheet will serve as a provisional document for immediate reference and for admission purposes until the original marksheets are issued by the respective schools.  

Alternative Ways to Check Your Result:

Recognizing potential heavy traffic on the official website, especially immediately after the result announcement, the PSEB has also provided alternative methods for students to access their results:  

• SMS Service: Students can also receive their results via SMS. To do this, they need to type the following message: PB12 <space> [Your Roll Number] and send it to 56767650. The result will be sent directly to their mobile phone.  
• DigiLocker: Students can also access their digital marksheets through the DigiLocker platform, either via the website (results.digilocker.gov.in) or the DigiLocker mobile application. They will need to log in or create an account and then navigate to the education section to select the Punjab School Education Board and the Class 12th marksheet.

Important Information for Students:

• No Physical Gazette: The PSEB has clarified that there will be no physical gazette (printed list of results) this year. The results will be available exclusively online.
• Provisional Result: Students should note that the result available online is provisional. The original marksheets will be distributed by their respective schools at a later date.
• Check All Details: After downloading the marksheet, students are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned, such as their name, roll number, subject-wise marks, and total score. In case of any discrepancy, they should immediately contact their school authorities for rectification.  
• Beware of Fake Links: Students are cautioned against clicking on any unverified or fake links circulating online claiming to provide results. They should rely only on the official PSEB website (pseb.ac.in) for authentic information.
• Technical Support: In case students face any technical issues while accessing their results online, the PSEB is expected to provide helpline numbers and email support details on their website to assist them.

Past Performance and Expectations:

In the previous year, 2024, the overall pass percentage for the PSEB Class 12th examinations stood at an impressive 93.04%, with girls outperforming boys. It remains to be seen what the statistics will be for the 2025 examinations, and all eyes will be on the announcement of the toppers and the overall performance of students across different streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts).
