This year, the central bank has announced a total of 650 vacancies across various regional offices. Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following requirements as of February 1, 2026:

1. Educational Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
  • For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, a “Pass Class” in graduation is sufficient.
  • Computer Literacy: Essential knowledge of word processing on a PC is required.

2. Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Candidates must have been born between February 2, 1998, and February 1, 2006 (both days inclusive).
  • Relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years).

3. Language Proficiency

  • Candidates must be proficient in the local language (read, write, speak, and understand) of the state or region for which they are applying.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three distinct stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination: A 60-minute objective test covering English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
  2. Main Examination: A 135-minute comprehensive test including Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.
  3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Shortlisted candidates from the Main exam must undergo a test in the local language. Failure to pass the LPT results in disqualification.

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹450 + 18% GST (Intimation charges + Test fee)
  • SC/ST/PwBD/EXS: ₹50 + 18% GST (Intimation charges only)
  • Staff Candidates: Nil
