Following a brief postponement, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced a new date for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) computer-based aptitude test. Originally scheduled for July 15, 2025, the exam was rescheduled due to unforeseen technical challenges. Aspiring candidates for the coveted ALP positions can now mark their calendars for August 31, 2025, which is the new date for the crucial examination.

In a move to facilitate a seamless experience for all applicants, the RRB has already made the city intimation slips available on its official website. This allows candidates to conveniently check their allotted exam city and center well in advance, enabling them to make necessary travel and accommodation arrangements without any last-minute stress.

It is paramount for all candidates to note that a new admit card will be issued for this rescheduled examination. The new admit cards will be available for download approximately four days before the new exam date. The previously issued admit cards are no longer valid for the August 31 test. Therefore, it is a mandatory step for every candidate to download and print the new admit card, as entry into the examination hall will strictly be granted only with the new document.

The RRB has also advised candidates to regularly check the official RRB website for any further updates or announcements related to the examination process. This proactive approach ensures that all candidates remain well-informed and do not miss any critical information. This timely communication from the RRB is a testament to its commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process for all applicants.
