YouTuber Thrashed and Booked After Cow Momos

New Delhi, December 11, 2025: A controversial and widely condemned video clip showing a Gurugram-based YouTuber feeding chicken momos to a cow has achieved massive viral success, leading to severe public backlash, a physical assault, and legal action being initiated against the content creator. The incident sparked widespread outrage over the insensitivity shown towards religious sentiments and animal welfare norms.

The Offensive Video Is Circulated

The widely circulated video, which was originally posted on a popular social media platform, captured the YouTuber deliberately offering and feeding chicken-filled momos (dumplings) to a cow in a public area of Gurugram. The cow is revered as a sacred animal by many Hindus, and the feeding of non-vegetarian food to it was immediately viewed as a profound insult to religious beliefs and an act of cruelty toward the animal.

The footage was quickly flagged by numerous individuals and religious organizations. The clear intent of the video—to provoke reaction for online views—was strongly criticized, leading to rapid and widespread condemnation across digital platforms.

In a separate incident that was also documented and circulated online, the man was thrashed and physically assaulted by a group of angry individuals who were outraged by his actions. Subsequently, a formal complaint was lodged with the Gurugram Police and the local administration. Based on the video evidence and the official complaint, a First Information Report (FIR) was promptly filed, and the YouTuber was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The charges reportedly included those related to animal cruelty and promoting religious enmity, confirming the severity of the offense.

The entire incident sparked a critical national discussion regarding the ethical boundaries of content creation.
