New Delhi, October 31, 2025: Legal action has been initiated against actors Manasi Parekh and Tiku Talsania after a video showing them performing risky bike stunts on the busy roads of Ahmedabad was widely circulated on social media. The dangerous maneuvers were reportedly carried out as part of a promotional event for their upcoming Gujarati film, Misri.

The footage was quickly flagged by vigilant citizens, leading to a massive public outcry over the blatant disregard for road safety rules. The actions were deemed highly irresponsible, particularly because they were executed by public figures who are expected to set a positive example.

Reckless Behavior Captured on Camera

The viral clips showed veteran actor Tiku Talsania standing up while riding a motorcycle, while actress Manasi Parekh was seen riding pillion and striking the famous “Titanic pose” while standing on the moving bike. Critically, some individuals involved in the rally were observed riding without helmets. The entire sequence was filmed amidst regular city traffic, raising serious concerns that the lives of other commuters and the actors themselves were being endangered.

The videos were criticized for promoting reckless driving and for potentially influencing younger viewers to attempt similar dangerous stunts. The actors’ actions were perceived as a clear violation of traffic laws and an abuse of the public space for commercial gain.

FIR Registered Under Motor Vehicles Act

Following the intense public reaction and the clear evidence provided by the viral video, the Ahmedabad Traffic Police was compelled to take swift and stringent action. It was officially confirmed by the authorities that a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at the ‘A’ Division Traffic Police Station. The case was filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act.

These sections pertain to reckless and negligent driving that endangers human life. Legal proceedings have been started against the individuals identified in the video, including the vehicle owners, and further investigation is being conducted to trace all participants. The police emphasized that no one, irrespective of their celebrity status, is immune from the law when traffic rules are broken.

The Celebrity Responsibility Debate

The incident has reignited the national debate regarding the responsibility of celebrities and public figures. Their actions are constantly being observed and are often replicated by their fans. Many social media users were insistent that a clear message must be sent that dangerous and illegal behavior will not be tolerated for the sake of film promotion. While the film’s producer has reportedly given a statement, an official public response from the actors involved is awaited. The legal action is viewed by many as a necessary step to reinforce the importance of road safety and the principle that all citizens are governed by the same set of laws.
