New Delhi, September 10, 2025: LIC AAO Preliminary Examination 2025 is to be conducted on October 3, 2025. Consequently, the hall tickets for the exam are expected to be released shortly. Candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the official websites of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for updates.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall; thus, it is imperative that it be downloaded and a printout taken. It is generally understood that admit cards for such examinations are made available approximately seven to fifteen days before the exam date. Based on this, the LIC AAO admit card is anticipated to be released in the coming days, during the last week of September 2025.

Once the admit card is released, it will be made available for download from the official LIC website at licindia.in or the IBPS portal at ibpsonline.ibps.in. The download process will require candidates to log in using their registration number, password, and a security code. All candidates who have successfully registered for the recruitment drive will be able to access their hall tickets.
The hall ticket will contain critical information that must be verified by the candidate upon download. This includes the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, and the allotted exam center address. The date and time of the exam, along with important exam-day instructions and guidelines, will also be mentioned. Any discrepancies found on the admit card should be reported to the concerned authorities immediately so that they can be rectified before the exam.
A valid photo identity proof, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport, is required to be carried along with the printed admit card to the exam center. It is to be noted that no candidate will be allowed entry into the examination hall without these documents. Candidates are therefore urged to ensure that all necessary documents are prepared in advance of the exam date.
The selection process for the Assistant Administrative Officer post consists of three stages: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and a final interview. The preliminary exam serves as a screening test, with only those who qualify being made eligible for the main exam, which is tentatively scheduled for November 8, 2025. Final selection will be based on the performance in the main exam and the interview.
