New Delhi, November 15, 2025: The Mokama Assembly constituency result has been declared, with the seat being secured by the controversial figure, Anant Singh. The contest was closely watched and the outcome was announced with Singh being declared the winner by a significant margin.
The victory was achieved by a substantial difference in votes. 28,206 votes were amassed, establishing a considerable lead over the closest contender. This decisive margin meant that the result was effectively put beyond doubt.
The runner-up, Veena Devi of the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal), was defeated in the closely fought election. Despite her efforts, the constituency was not won by the RJD candidate this time.
The winning candidate, Anant Singh, who is widely known by the moniker ‘Chota Sarkar’, had his campaign influenced by his current legal status. The victory was claimed while Singh himself was incarcerated, adding a layer of drama to the election results. Despite being jailed, the popular support base was successfully mobilized, and the seat was retained by him. The final figures were carefully compiled by the electoral officials, and the win was subsequently ratified.
