New Delhi | Nov 3 domestic and international passengers flying from Delhi airport can now get their Covid check done before departure. Its operator Dial gave this information on Tuesday. Covid-19 Testing Facility Center was started at Delhi Airport on 12 September and till now this facility was available only to passengers coming from abroad. As per a statement, the Delhi international airport limited (dial) has set up the covid -19 sample collection booth for passengers taking international or domestic flights against terminal 3 gate number eight, in association with green string diagnostic center private limited. “Passengers pay Rs. 2400 and have to come to the airport about 6 hours before the exact time of their flight.

Covid testing is to be done and get results within four to six hours,” the statement said. The statement says, “sample collection centers can collect 120-130 samples per hour.” We have launched an RT-PCR test facility for domestic/international passengers flying from Delhi airport,” said Videha Kumar Jaipuriyar, CEO of Dial.

These rules have to be followed by passengers during airport: 

  1. All passengers will have to give information about their health either through the Arogya Setu App or by filling a self-declaration.
  1. Passengers will have to undergo web-check-in as check-in counters will not be functional at airports.
  1. Only those passengers who have a web check-in will be allowed entry into the terminal.
  1. They said that only one check-in bag will be allowed to be carried and airline companies will not provide food and services in the aircraft.
  1. Elderly people who also have other health problems, pregnant women, and those going through health-related problems, have been advised not to travel by air.
  1. There will be no catering sales in the aircraft, body temperature check will be mandatory for all passengers.
  1. Passengers must arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled flight time and strictly follow social distance rules.
  1. According to the guidelines, boarding of passengers will start 60 minutes before the flight time of the aircraft and the boarding gate will be closed 20 minutes before the departure time.
  1. All passengers must wear masks at the time of entry to the airport and thereafter throughout the journey. Those found infected with Covid-19 will not be allowed to travel.

The government has started relaxing the rules to restore economic activity to bring back the economy affected by the coronavirus, and a few days after that domestic and international passengers are being allowed air travel from Delhi airport.

The Supreme Court has adjourned the matter for two weeks while hearing a petition filed by Republic TV chief Arnab Goswami against the breach of privilege notice issued in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. While hearing the case, the bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde said “we have to follow the law in the case”.

Significantly, Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik had proposed this against Arnab Goswami in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and Transport Minister Anil Parab demanded the strictest action against Arnab Goswami. Pratap Sarnaik had said, “I condemn the language that Arnab Goswami has used against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress chief Sharad Pawar. In the name of freedom of expression, there has been an attempt to tarnish the reputation of both Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar. Strict action should be taken against Arnab Goswami”.

After this, Shiv Sena moved a motion for breach of privilege against Goswami in both houses of Maharashtra Assembly, which was accepted by the Speaker and sent a 60-page notice to him. In this, Arnab was sent a show-cause notice by the Assembly on September 16 for criticizing the government in the case of the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Arnab challenged this in the Supreme Court. On which the court has given this decision while hearing today. Senior advocate Harish Salve was appearing on behalf of Arnab and Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi on behalf of the Maharashtra government.

What is the case of Arnav Goswami?

Significantly, Mumbai police had also approached the Supreme Court by editor Arnab Goswami of the republic TV to rescind the new FIR filed against him. He had requested the court to provide security to his family and the employees of the channel and instruct the police not to register a new FIR. The Supreme Court had transferred the case in Mumbai and stayed the rest of the FIRs.

Arnab is accused of airing two TV programs on his news channel to spread communal hatred against Muslims. He was also accused of using abusive language for congress President Sonia Gandhi. For Pratik, collaborating with Mehta was like a dream coming true. He says that he auditioned for the show, but he discovered later that Mehta sir had never even looked at the tapes of the audition. He’d seen two of his Gujarati movies and a play and the coveted project bagged him with that.

While the viewer is part of the production in the theatre with its enthusiasm and immediate reaction, cinema is a one-way medium. Often, the character stays for 2-3 hours in the theatre. Scam 1992 is his first web series and there was a new feel to the shoot that lasted months. The cycle of acting for him remains the same, whether it’s stage or screen.

In Delhi, singer Indeep Bakshi, popular for his hits like Saturday Saturday, and Kala Chashma has kept himself under house arrest when he was assaulted by unknown people several times. Bakshi has been receiving threatening messages by goons after his collaboration with singer Sumit Goswami for an album release. However, Sumit is currently in prison for allegedly instigating the suicide of a businessman named Aman Baisla, who had accused the singer of not returning his money.

Currently, people are sending him threats after Bakshi’s song titled “Raaj” with Goswami came out. Also, his family members on social media have become the witness of the threats. As stated by spotboye, The Punjabi singer is very upset by the way people have behaved with him to collaborate with the accused.

In an interview, Bakshi stated that when he was collaborating with Goswami, he had no clue that he was going to be charged in a case because he was the only professionally connected with him. He also told in the interview that he is an artist-producer and how would he be aware of the personal life of Sumit as he was only acquainted professionally with him, even on behalf of a song shoot through the business. It doesn’t mean that I am engaged. The controversy is alright which is absolutely their concern. Also, I spoke to them. This album was going to arrive earlier, in November. Then the video in which the deceased has been recorded calling Goswami as the reason for his death went viral. Two months ago, the track was shot and came out in October.

Bakshi admitted that he worries for his existence as he has difficulty finding out who his followers are and who are aiming him for assaulting wherever he goes. He had said on his father’s birthday that he recently made a social media post and people sent him threats in the comments writing ‘maar denge’ and others. Some also wrote on the bonnet of his car ‘panga kyu liya’ while also smashing his car-windows. He is not against anyone and he had just wrote a rap piece. He also said that due to the attack, more than half of the musicians are scared of collaborating with him now. His mother weeps all day and he finds himself in a clueless situation. He says that he will stop singing like he do as his family is everything for him.

Bakshi also went on to announce that he was all set to compete in the Bigg Boss 14 reality game show. However, he missed out on the chance following the incident and is still trapped in his home.
