New Delhi, March 27, 2026: Apple is reportedly gearing up for its next major flagship release, with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max expected to lead the charge. While the official unveiling is still months away, a wave of leaks from supply chain insiders and industry analysts has already painted a detailed picture of what Indian consumers can expect. This year’s “Pro” lineup is rumored to focus on massive efficiency gains, record-breaking battery life, and a significant leap in mobile photography.
The iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to introduce several “firsts” for the brand, moving toward a more seamless design and professional-grade camera hardware.
Pricing for the iPhone 18 Pro series in India is expected to remain premium, though analysts suggest Apple may try to keep starting prices stable despite rising component costs.
| Model | Expected Starting Price (India) |
| iPhone 18 Pro | ₹1,34,900 – ₹1,43,990 |
| iPhone 18 Pro Max | ₹1,49,900 – ₹1,59,900 |
Apple is likely to stick with the 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch display sizes for the Pro and Pro Max, respectively. However, the design may see a shift toward a unified glass finish on the rear, moving away from the dual-tone looks of the past.
For the “hero” color of the year, rumors point to a new “Burgundy” or “Deep Red” finish, replacing the current special editions. Other shades under testing reportedly include Coffee Brown and a refined Purple.
Following Apple’s traditional release cycle, the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are expected to be announced in September 2026.
Interestingly, some reports suggest a split launch strategy this year. While the Pro models and a rumored “iPhone Fold” might debut in the fall, the standard iPhone 18 and more affordable variants could be pushed to a Spring 2027 release. This would allow Apple to prioritize its most advanced technology for the holiday season.
