
New Delhi, November 18, 2025: The OPPO Reno 15 was officially announced on November 17, 2025, in China, with its design and specifications being heavily influenced by premium components. This device is positioned as a powerful option within the upper mid-range smartphone segment.
A 6.32-inch AMOLED display is featured on the device, where visuals are rendered at a resolution of 1216×2640 pixels (1.5K). A smooth viewing experience is ensured by the 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen is protected by OPPO Crystal Shield Glass, providing enhanced durability. The phone’s aesthetic is completed by a sleek body and slim bezels, which are complemented by a ‘Starlight Bow’ finish on certain color variants.
High-speed processing is delivered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which is utilized for all intensive tasks. Seamless multitasking is facilitated by the inclusion of up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. User data and applications are stored on up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, though no external expansion via microSD card is supported. The Reno 15 is powered by the Android 16 operating system, with OPPO’s custom ColorOS 16 skin being applied over it.
A professional-grade photography experience is offered through the advanced camera setup. A powerful 200MP main sensor is utilized as the primary lens, and this is complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. High-resolution selfies and video calls are managed by a 50MP front-facing camera. Video recording capabilities are extended to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, where stability is improved by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Long-lasting power is provided by a substantial 6,200mAh non-removable battery. Fast and efficient recharging is supported by 80W SuperVOOC wired charging. The phone is protected against dust and water ingress, with an IP rating of IP66 + IP68 + IP69 being specified.
