Police Misconduct Filmed: Biker Assaulted on Patna Bridge

New Delhi, November 18, 2025: A highly distressing video, which was filmed on Patna’s six-lane bridge, has rapidly gone viral across social media, leading to widespread public condemnation of police conduct. The footage shows a group of police personnel verbally abusing and physically assaulting a young biker during what was claimed to be a routine traffic stop. The video, which was initially shared by a friend of the biker on social media, was quickly seized upon by the public as evidence of police brutality. As the clip’s view count soared into the millions, the biker allegedly began receiving threatening calls. Audio recordings were later released by the biker’s friend, showing a person who was identified as being from the police department demanding that the footage should be immediately deleted.

In the recorded call, the biker is heard justifying his decision to upload the video, explaining, “Mere sath maar peet kiya, gali galoch kiya toh hum kya karte” (I was beaten and abused, what else could I have done?). The caller was then heard issuing a direct threat: “Jaldi delete karo nahi toh hum tumko arrest kar lenge” (Delete it quickly or you will be arrested). The victim was pressurized to remove the content to save the ‘honour’ of the police, but the request was firmly refused. This subsequent attempt to suppress the evidence further inflamed public opinion.
