New Delhi, February 27, 2026 – Samsung has officially pulled back the curtain on its next generation of flagship smartphones, launching the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in India. Debuted at the global Galaxy Unpacked event, the new series is being marketed as the world’s first “Agentic AI” phones, moving beyond simple features to a proactive, assistant-driven user experience.

The 2026 lineup introduces significant hardware shifts, including the world’s first integrated Privacy Display on the Ultra model and a return to refined aluminum frames across the board.

Official Pricing and Variants in India

Samsung has maintained a competitive pricing strategy for the Indian market, though the mid-tier and base models see a slight adjustment compared to last year due to increased base storage.

Key Features and Innovations

1. The “Agentic AI” Experience

Running on Android 16 with One UI 8.5, the S26 series integrates “Intuitive Galaxy AI.” Samsung’s new Now Nudge feature proactively suggests actions—such as checking your calendar when a friend mentions plans in a chat—while the upgraded Bixby, Gemini, and Perplexity agents allow for multi-step tasks to be completed via simple natural language.

2. Privacy Display (Ultra Exclusive)

The Galaxy S26 Ultra debuts a hardware-level Privacy Display. Using pixel-level light control, the screen remains crystal clear for the person holding it but appears blackened or unreadable from side angles, protecting sensitive data like PINs and private messages in public spaces.

3. Pro-Grade Performance

  • Processor: The Ultra model features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy worldwide. The standard S26 and S26+ in India are powered by the new 2nm Exynos 2600, which boasts a 19% boost in CPU and 39% in NPU performance.
  • Charging: Samsung has finally upgraded its charging speeds. The S26 Ultra now supports 60W Wired Fast Charging, reaching 75% in just 30 minutes. The S26+ supports 45W, while the base S26 remains at 25W.

4. Camera Upgrades

The Ultra continues to lead with a 200MP main sensor featuring a wider f/1.4 aperture for superior low-light “Nightography.” The setup is supported by a 50MP ultra-wide and dual telephoto lenses (50MP 5x and 10MP 3x). The S26 and S26+ sport a refined 50MP triple-camera system with enhanced AI ISP for more natural skin tones.

Pre-order Offers and Availability

Pre-orders are currently live on the Samsung India online store, Amazon, and major retail outlets. Early adopters can benefit from several “Galaxy Unpacked” rewards:

  • Double Storage Offer: Customers pre-ordering the 256GB variant can get the 512GB model at no extra cost (a benefit worth ₹20,000).
  • Exchange Bonuses: Up to ₹75,000 off when trading in old flagship devices.
  • Ecosystem Deals: An additional 10% off on the newly launched Galaxy Buds4 series when purchased with a phone.
  • Exclusive Colors: While Cobalt Violet and Black are widely available, Silver Shadow and Pink Gold are exclusive to Samsung’s website.

Official sales and shipping in India are scheduled to begin on March 11, 2026.
