
New Delhi, March 26, 2026: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the theory examination date sheet for the April-May 2026 session. Students enrolled in Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) can now access the full schedule on the official NIOS portal.
According to the announcement, the theory examinations are set to commence on April 10, 2026, and will conclude on May 6, 2026.
The exams will be conducted at various designated centers across India and overseas. Most papers are scheduled for the afternoon shift, typically from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, though students should note that certain vocational and music subjects may have shorter durations.
