Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has officially launched the highly anticipated Hero XPulse 210, marking a significant evolution in its adventure touring lineup. Priced competitively from ₹1.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant and ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec model, the XPulse 210 promises an elevated riding experience for both off-road enthusiasts and highway cruisers.

The XPulse 210 was first unveiled at the EICMA 2024 and subsequently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, generating considerable excitement among the motorcycling community. It stands as a powerful successor to the popular XPulse 200 4V, boasting substantial upgrades in engine capacity, chassis design, and technological features.

Potent New Engine for Enhanced Performance

At the heart of the XPulse 210 is a new 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC (Double Overhead Camshaft) 4-valve engine. This powerplant, borrowed and re-tuned from the Karizma XMR, delivers a robust 24.6 PS of power at 9250 rpm and a peak torque of 20.7 Nm at 7250 rpm. This is a considerable improvement over its predecessor, offering more grunt across the rev range and a more relaxed cruising experience on highways. The engine is paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox, further aiding in efficient power delivery and better highway manners.

Hero has optimized the engine with revised cam timing and a different engine map, along with a larger 46-tooth rear sprocket (compared to the Karizma XMR’s 42-tooth), to ensure excellent low and mid-range tractability – a crucial aspect for off-road riding. The XPulse 210 is built on a new semi-double cradle frame of high-tensile steel, offering improved rigidity and handling. The suspension system has also seen significant upgrades:

• Long-Travel Suspension: It features beefier 41mm telescopic front forks with 210mm of travel and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear with 205mm of travel. These figures represent a considerable increase compared to the XPulse 200 4V, providing enhanced capability to absorb bumps and tackle challenging off-road conditions with greater comfort and control.
• Braking System: The motorcycle is equipped with disc brakes at both ends (276mm front, 220mm rear) for strong stopping power. The dual-channel ABS (in the top variant) further boosts safety.
• Wheels and Tyres: It continues to sport the adventure-friendly combination of a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, wrapped in tubed block-pattern tyres, ideal for varied terrains.

Design and Ergonomics

While retaining the iconic adventure DNA of the XPulse series, the 210 sports refreshed styling cues. It features a sharper fuel tank design, redesigned side panels, a sleek tail section, and a longer tail rack, giving it a more muscular and modern aesthetic. The H-shaped LED DRL and full LED lighting add to its premium appeal. Hero has also improved the ergonomics with a comfortable single-piece seat and well-positioned footpegs, making it suitable for both seated and standing riding positions, crucial for off-road riding. The Hero XPulse 210 is available in two variants: Base and Top, priced at ₹1,75,800 and ₹1,85,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. The motorcycle is offered in a range of attractive colors, including Wild Red, Glacier White, Azure Blue, and Alpine Silver.
