Hyundai has officially pulled the covers off the new-generation Venue, a comprehensive facelift that transforms the compact SUV, positioning it as a dominant force in one of the most competitive segments. Slated for launch in November 2025, the new Venue brings a radical design overhaul, a feature-loaded cabin, and a slight increase in dimensions, redefining the benchmarks for its class.
The 2025 Venue embraces Hyundai’s latest global design philosophy, adopting a much bolder and more muscular aesthetic. The front fascia sees the most significant change, featuring a striking, rectangular, dark chrome grille that dominates the face. This is flanked by a revamped split-headlamp setup, where a sleek, full-width connected LED light bar runs across the bonnet line, seamlessly flowing into the prominent C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) that frame the vertically stacked, quad-beam LED headlamp cluster. A chunkier, silver faux skid plate on the bumper adds to the SUV’s aggressive stance.
From the side, the new Venue looks more sculpted, thanks to sharper character lines, muscular wheel arches, and newly designed 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Notably, the dimensions have slightly increased, making the car 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider, which translates into a stronger road presence. At the rear, the design maintains a futuristic appeal with sleeker connected LED tail lamps housed within a gloss black panel, echoing the full-width lighting signature seen at the front. The C-pillar also receives a distinctive garnish, complete with a ‘VENUE’ emblem.
The interior of the new Venue has undergone a complete metamorphosis, moving firmly into premium territory. The dashboard is entirely new, featuring a sophisticated layered design and a refreshing dual-tone Dark Navy Blue and Dove Grey colour theme.
The undisputed highlight is the curved panoramic display setup, a feature typically reserved for higher segments. This includes dual 12.3-inch screens that merge the digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment system, providing a seamless, high-tech interface. The infotainment system is packed with connectivity features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Comfort and convenience have been significantly enhanced with the introduction of premium additions like Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, a 4-way power-adjustable driver seat, and a 360-degree camera. For rear-seat passengers, new additions include 2-step reclining rear seats and rear window sunshades, addressing past criticisms regarding rear comfort. Other features retained and improved upon include the electric sunroof, ambient lighting, and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
Under the bonnet, Hyundai has wisely retained the proven engine line-up, ensuring performance and reliability are a given. The three engine options are:
Hyundai has also introduced a new variant naming strategy, switching to the “HX” series (e.g., HX2, HX10), which aims to streamline the model hierarchy for customers.
In essence, the new Hyundai Venue is not just a facelift; it is a profound generational update. With its striking new design, segment-challenging technology, and expanded feature list, it is poised to dramatically elevate its position in the compact SUV space and intensify competition for rivals like the Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV 3XO. Bookings for the new model are already underway, with the official price announcement scheduled for November 4, 2025.
