New Delhi, November 14,2025: The Mahindra XEV 9e is positioned as a premium electric SUV coupé, and it is being highlighted as a significant entry into the electric vehicle segment. This model is being marketed as one of the flagship products born from Mahindra’s advanced INGLO platform, which was developed exclusively for electric cars.

Performance and Technology

Exceptional range and swift acceleration are provided by the XEV 9e. Two primary battery packs, with capacities of 59 kWh and 79 kWh, are offered. A claimed range of up to 656 km (MIDC) is achieved with the larger battery variant. The vehicle’s performance is defined by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, and an acceleration of 0-100 km/h is accomplished in just 6.8 seconds with the larger battery. Furthermore, charging times are minimized; the battery can be replenished from 20% to 80% in under 20 minutes when a 175 kW DC fast charger is utilized.

Luxury and Safety

The XEV 9e’s cabin is equipped with cutting-edge technology and premium materials. The dashboard is dominated by a three-screen digital cockpit, which includes a driver’s display, a central infotainment screen, and a dedicated passenger screen, offering a thoroughly modern experience. An elevated audio experience is delivered by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, which features Dolby Atmos. Comfort is ensured by a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory functions. On the safety front, the vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive suite of features. Seven airbags are included as standard, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are provided to enhance driver safety. The vehicle has also been awarded a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating, which underscores its protective capabilities.
