How to Apply for AIIMS INI SS 2026
The application process is strictly online. Follow these steps to complete your registration:
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to aiimsexams.ac.in.
- New Registration: Click on the ‘Academic Courses’ tab and select ‘INI-SS (DM/M.Ch./MD(HA))’. Register by providing basic details to generate a Candidate ID and Password.
- Fill Application Form: Login with your credentials and enter academic qualifications, internship details, and choice of examination center.
- Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and left-thumb impression as per the prescribed specifications.
- Payment of Fee: Pay the registration fee through online modes (Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking).
- General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST: ₹4,000
- PWBD: Exempted from fee.
- Final Submission: Review all details and print the “Registration Slip” for future reference.
Eligibility Criteria & Exam Pattern
Before applying, candidates should ensure they meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an MD/MS degree or DNB from a recognized university. The degree completion deadline for this session is generally July 31, 2026.
- Age Limit: While there is no lower age limit, the upper age limit typically ranges between 35 to 45 years, depending on the specific institute and category relaxations.
Exam Structure:
The INI SS is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 80 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 90 minutes. The exam is divided into two stages:
