The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the examination, conducted between May 13 and June 4, 2025, can now access the answer key, their recorded response sheets, and the question papers on the official CUET NTA website. This release marks a crucial step for aspirants to evaluate their performance before the final results are declared.
The provisional answer key was made available on June 17, 2025. Candidates are strongly advised to download and meticulously review the answer key against their own responses. This allows them to calculate their probable scores and identify any discrepancies they might find in the provisional answers.
To access the CUET UG 2025 provisional answer key and their response sheets, candidates must visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in. Upon reaching the homepage, they should navigate to the “Candidate Activity” section or look for a direct link related to the CUET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key. They will then be prompted to log in using their application number and date of birth or password. Once logged in, candidates can view and download the PDF files of the answer key and their response sheets.
The NTA has also activated a dedicated window for candidates to raise objections against any answers they believe are incorrect. This is a vital opportunity for candidates to highlight potential errors and ensure fairness in the evaluation process.
Following the closure of the objection window and the review of challenges, the NTA is expected to release the CUET UG 2025 final answer key, tentatively by the last week of June 2025. Subsequently, the CUET UG 2025 results are anticipated to be declared in the last week of June or early July 2025. Candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the official website for all further updates regarding result declaration and the subsequent counselling process for admissions to undergraduate programs in various central and participating universities across India.
