Educational and Age Eligibility Criteria

  • Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Require a Three-Year Diploma in the respective engineering or technical discipline.
  • Graduate Apprentices: Need a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, BBA) or an Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant discipline (e.g., Accounts Executive, Executive HR, Petroleum Executive).

Age Limit: The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, and the maximum is 24 years as of November 6, 2025. Age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories as per Government of India rules.

Selection and Stipend Details

The selection process is purely based on merit, calculated solely on the marks obtained by the candidate in their respective qualifying examination (ITI, Diploma, or Graduation). This eliminates the stress of a written test and offers a transparent, mark-based selection. In the event of a tie in marks between two or more candidates, the applicant with the higher age will be given preference.

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961:

  • Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month
  • Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month
  • Trade Apprentice (ITI 2-year): ₹10,560 per month
  • Trade Apprentice (ITI 1-year): ₹9,600 per month
  • Trade Apprentice (10th/12th): ₹8,200 per month

The training duration for all trades is 12 months, providing a full year of hands-on experience in the energy sector.
