Standard age relaxations apply for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD) as per Government of India guidelines.

Stipend and Benefits

The apprenticeship program is designed to be financially supportive for the selected candidates. During the 12-month training period, apprentices will receive a comprehensive monthly stipend of ₹13,500.

This amount is structured as follows:

  • Bank’s Contribution: ₹9,000 per month
  • Government Contribution (via DBT): ₹4,500 per month
  • Additional Benefits: Selected apprentices may also receive a conveyance allowance of up to ₹1,250 per month.

The Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the apprenticeship will be merit-based, determined through an online written examination. The exam is structured to test the candidate’s general aptitude and banking awareness:

  • Exam Pattern: A single-stage objective-type written examination consisting of 100 questions.
  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Negative Marking: There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer, emphasizing the need for accuracy.

Following the examination, a merit list will be prepared on a district and category-wise basis to finalize the selection.
