The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the results for the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Annual Regular 2025 session. The results were declared on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, and are now available on the official websites, jkbose.nic.in and jkresults.nic.in.
This year’s examinations saw a total of 1,45,671 students appear, out of which an impressive 1,16,453 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 79.94%. This marks a slight improvement compared to the previous year’s pass percentage of 79.25%.
Continuing the trend, girls have once again outperformed boys in the Class 10th results. The pass percentage among female students stands at 81.24%, while the pass percentage for boys is 78.74%. Out of the 70,244 girls who appeared for the examination, 57,063 have qualified. In comparison, 59,390 boys out of 75,427 who appeared, have passed the examination.
An analysis of the subject-wise performance reveals strong results across various disciplines. Urdu recorded the highest pass percentage at 92.5%, followed closely by Science and Social Studies, both securing a 90% pass rate. Mathematics achieved a pass percentage of 88%, while Hindi and English recorded 88.5% and 84% respectively.
