The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially announced the results for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET 2025) and the Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET 2025). Aspiring law students across the state can now access their rank cards and begin preparing for the upcoming counselling process.
The highly anticipated results were declared on June 25, 2025, at 4 PM, bringing an end to the wait for thousands of candidates who appeared for the examinations. The TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET exams, conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of TGCHE, were held on June 6, 2025, across multiple sessions.
Candidates can download their individual rank cards by visiting the official website of TS LAWCET and PGLCET: lawcet.tgche.ac.in. To access their results, candidates will need to enter their Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth. It is strongly advised to download and take a printout of the rank card for future reference, as it will be a crucial document during the counselling and admission process.
The release of the final answer keys for both examinations also coincided with the result declaration. The provisional answer keys were initially released on June 11, 2025, with an objection window open until June 13, 2025. The final results have been prepared after carefully evaluating all submitted objections.
The TS LAWCET exam is conducted for admissions into 3-year and 5-year integrated LLB courses, while the TS PGLCET is for admission to 2-year LLM programs offered by various government and private law colleges in Telangana.
To qualify for ranking and participate in the counselling process, general and OBC category candidates are required to secure a minimum of 35% marks in the TS LAWCET 2025. There are no specific qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.
The rank card will contain essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, subject-wise and total scores, and qualifying status. It’s important to note that the rank obtained is valid only for admission to the respective law courses for the academic year 2025.
With the results now declared, the focus shifts to the counselling process. While the detailed schedule for TS LAWCET and PGLCET counselling 2025 is yet to be officially announced, it is tentatively expected to commence in July or August 2025.
