The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has officially announced the results for the Class 10 examinations for the academic year 2024-25 today, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM IST. The declaration brings an end to the anticipation of over one lakh students who appeared for the High School examinations held between February 21 and March 11, 2025. Â
The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stands at an impressive 90.77%, indicating a commendable performance by the students across the state. This marks an improvement compared to the previous year’s pass percentage of 89.14%.
Girls Outshine Boys
Continuing the trend, girls have once again outperformed boys in the Class 10 board examinations. The pass percentage for female students is an impressive 93.25%, while the pass percentage for male students is 88.20%. This significant difference highlights the consistent academic excellence of girls in the Uttarakhand Board examinations.
Joint Toppers Secure Top Rank
In a remarkable achievement, two students have jointly secured the top position in the Class 10 examinations, both scoring an impressive 496 out of 500 marks (99.20%):
- Kamal Singh Chauhan: Vivekanand VMIC, Mandalshera, Bageshwar Â
- Jatin Joshi: HGS SVM IC, Kusumkhera, Haldwani, Nainital
Following closely behind is Kanaklata from Tehri Garhwal, who secured the second rank with 495 marks (99.00%). The third rank is jointly held by three students who scored 494 marks (98.80%):
- Divyam: Goswami Ganesh Dutt SVMIC, Uttarkashi
- Priya: CAIC Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag Â
- Deepa Joshi: PP SVMIC Nanakmatta, Udham Singh Nagar
Division-wise Performance
The division-wise performance of the students in the Class 10 examinations is as follows:
- Distinction: 12,439 students (11.32%)
- First Division: 30,681 students (27.92%)
- Second Division: 41,966 students (38.19%)
- Third Division: 14,631 students (13.31%)
How to Check Your Results
Students can now access their Class 10 results through the official websites of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education:
- ubse.uk.gov.in
- uaresults.nic.in
To check their results, students will need to enter their roll number as mentioned on their admit card.
Alternative Ways to Check Results
Considering the possibility of high traffic on the official websites, the board has also provided alternative methods to access the results:
- SMS: Type UK10<space>ROLLNUMBER and send it to 56263. Â
- DigiLocker: Students can also check their results via the DigiLocker app or website (digilocker.gov.in). They need to log in using their Aadhaar-linked mobile number, navigate to the “Education” section, select “UK Board (UBSE)”, and enter their roll number. Â
Important Information for Students
- The online mark sheet available on the websites is provisional. The original mark sheets will be distributed by the respective schools at a later date. Students are advised to keep a copy of the online mark sheet for future reference.
- Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or scrutiny of their answer sheets. Details regarding this process will be available on the official UBSE website soon.
- Those students who did not clear one or two subjects will have the opportunity to appear for supplementary examinations. Information regarding the supplementary exams will also be released by the board in due course.
