Eligibility Criteria (Snapshot)

Candidates must be Indian Nationals and a domicile of West Bengal to be eligible for reservation benefits. Age is calculated as of January 1, 2025.

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years to Maximum 32 years. Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates of West Bengal as per government norms.
• Educational Qualifications:
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical) Grade-II: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
  • Assistant Manager (HR&A): Graduate in any discipline plus a 2-year full-time MBA/PG Degree/Diploma with specialization in Personnel Management/HR.
  • Assistant Manager (F&A): Graduate in any discipline plus CA Final/CMA Final qualification OR a 2-year full-time MBA/PG Degree/Diploma with specialization in Finance & Accounts.
• Language: Applicants must be able to read, speak, and write in Bengali or Nepali.

Selection Process

The recruitment involves a multi-stage selection process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective-type test for 85 marks. It will cover Domain Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Proficiency, and Test of Vernacular (Bengali/Nepali). There is a negative marking of $0.33$ for each wrong answer.
2. Personal Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted in a $1:3$ ratio based on their CBT performance for the interview, which carries 15 marks.
3. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to document verification and a Pre-Employment Medical Test.

Selected candidates for Assistant Manager posts must also furnish a service bond of ₹3,00,000 and Junior Engineer posts a bond of ₹2,00,000, committing to serve the company for a minimum of 4 years.
