New Delhi, November 29, 2025: The movie, directed by Mahesh Babu Pachigolla, was released on Thursday (Day 1) and managed to pull in a net collection of approximately ₹4.15 crore across all languages, with the Telugu states leading the charge.
On its second day, Friday, ‘Andhra King Taluka’ saw a predictable drop from the opening day rush, collecting an estimated ₹3.00 crore (India net).
| Day | India Net Collection (Approx.) |
| Day 1 (Thursday) | ₹4.15 Crore |
| Day 2 (Friday) | ₹3.00 Crore |
| Total (2 Days) | ₹7.15 Crore |
While the Day 2 collection is lower than Day 1, which is common after a grand opening, trade analysts are viewing the overall two-day total of ₹7.15 crore as a decent foundation, especially given the film’s genre.
A key positive takeaway for the film’s prospects is the consistent growth in theatre occupancy throughout Day 2, particularly during the later shows. On Friday, the overall Telugu occupancy was recorded at approximately 26.07%.
This pattern—where night shows are significantly better attended—is a strong indicator that the film is generating favorable reviews from the audience, which typically drives more viewers to the theaters on the subsequent days. The story, which revolves around a devoted fan named Sagar (Ram Pothineni) and his idol, a superstar facing a crisis, appears to be resonating with viewers.
The Day 2 performance sets up a critical window for ‘Andhra King Taluka.’ With today being Saturday, and tomorrow being Sunday, the extended four-day opening weekend is the film’s best opportunity to post big numbers. The strong occupancy in the Friday night shows suggests that the film is well-positioned to see a considerable jump in collections over the weekend.
The makers, who reportedly budgeted the film at around ₹56 crore, will be hoping that the positive reception converts into a massive surge to achieve a good weekend total. The current collections show an estimated 12.76% of the budget recovered so far.
Experts suggest the film must continue this momentum, with Saturday and Sunday collections being substantially higher than the first two days, to ensure a successful theatrical run before facing competition from upcoming big releases.
