In a distressing update shared with their fans, popular television actress Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with a significant liver tumour, approximately the size of a tennis ball. The news was revealed by her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, through an emotional vlog, leaving their followers deeply concerned and prompting an outpouring of support and prayers.

“The doctor asked us to do a CT scan, and it showed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size, like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us,” Shoaib shared, his voice heavy with concern.
Dipika was immediately admitted to the hospital for further investigations to determine the nature of the tumour, specifically to ascertain whether it is cancerous. While initial reports have offered a glimmer of hope by not indicating malignancy, the couple is anxiously awaiting the results of crucial pending tests.
Despite being discharged briefly to recuperate at home, Dipika is scheduled to undergo surgery soon to remove the tumour. Shoaib expressed the couple’s worry, particularly regarding their young son, Ruhaan, who is still breastfeeding and has never been apart from his mother for an extended period.
“This was the first thought in Dipika’s mind as well when she got the report. That’s why she started crying. Please pray for us,” Shoaib appealed to their fans. He also made a heartfelt request to their detractors, urging them to set aside any negativity and join in praying for Dipika’s swift recovery.
