Mumbai, November 14, 2024: Subhash Ghai, the producer of the iconic 2004 film “Aitraaz,” has confirmed the development of a sequel to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary. The original film, starring Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was a blockbuster hit and is still remembered for its bold portrayal of workplace harassment.
While the lead cast for “Aitraaz 2” hasn’t been officially announced yet, speculations are rife that Priyanka Chopra might reprise her role. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
The sequel will be directed by Amit Rai, who helmed the recent hit film “OMG 2.” The script for “Aitraaz 2” has been in development for the past three years, and Ghai is confident that it will be another blockbuster hit.
