January 31, 2026 – Bollywood’s “Bhaijaan,” Salman Khan, has once again proven that whether it’s a high-octane action scene or a simple press event, he remains the undisputed king of viral moments. This time, the superstar found himself in a hilarious standoff with an unexpected opponent: a humanoid robot.

The incident occurred during a recent promotional event for the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), where Salman, the owner of the Delhi Superheros franchise, was present to drum up excitement for the upcoming season. While the league aims to take street cricket to the stadium, it was a tech-interaction on stage that stole the show.

The Robot Shake-Up

As part of a tech demonstration, a sleek humanoid robot was brought onto the stage to interact with the star. The robot extended its hand for a formal greeting, but things took a comical turn when Salman, known for his unpredictable wit, decided to test the machine’s “reflexes.”

After a brief, somewhat stiff handshake, Salman playfully tapped the robot on the head and gave it a trademark “Bhai” stare. The robot’s slightly delayed mechanical response and Salman’s deadpan expression created a moment of pure comedic gold.

Fans React: “Iski Fielding Set Hai Ab”

It didn’t take long for the footage to hit social media, where fans flooded the comments with memes and witty one-liners. One comment, in particular, became the rallying cry for the viral clip: “Iski fielding set hai ab” (His fielding is set now).

The joke references Salman’s famous intensity; fans joked that the robot was so intimidated by the actor’s presence that it was ready to be deployed to the boundary ropes for the Delhi Superheros. Other fans quipped:

  • “Even AI knows not to mess with Tiger!”
  • “The robot’s software just crashed looking at Salman’s swag.”
  • “Bhai preparing the first-ever AI cricketer for ISPL.”

More Than Just Memes

Beyond the laughs, Salman used the platform to highlight his commitment to grassroots sports. Speaking at the event, he emphasized how the ISPL is changing lives by giving “gully” cricketers a professional platform.

“Every kid in India starts with a tennis ball,” Salman remarked. “ISPL is about bringing that raw, street energy to the big stage. My team is motivated, and we are here to win.”

The actor also briefly addressed the buzz surrounding his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, where he plays Colonel B. Santosh Babu. When asked if the robot could handle a cameo in an action flick, Salman joked that it might need a few more “software updates” before facing him on the big screen.
