Following the success of the first season, Shahid Kapoor is set to reprise his role as the crafty counterfeiter Sunny in “Farzi 2.” The series, directed by Raj & DK, is slated to begin filming in December 2025, with an expected release in the second half of 2026.
The sequel promises a thrilling face-off between Sunny, Special Task Officer Michael (Vijay Sethupathi), and crime mastermind Mansoor Dalal (Kay Kay Menon). The series also stars Raashii Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and Kavya Thapar in pivotal roles.
“Farzi,” which marked Shahid Kapoor’s entry into the world of web series, revolves around a disillusioned artist who turns to counterfeiting. The first season ended on a cliffhanger, building anticipation for the upcoming sequel.
