New Delhi, November 24, 2025: BTS member Jungkook has once again been the victim of an attempted home intrusion, marking the third such incident at his private residence this year. The latest case involves a Japanese woman in her 50s who is now under investigation by Seoul police for suspected trespassing. The repeated security breaches have raised serious concerns among fans and the public regarding the global star’s personal safety and privacy.

The Incident and Investigation Details

According to reports, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul launched a pre-investigation into the woman, who is identified only as “A.” The suspect allegedly attempted to gain entry to Jungkook’s home multiple times between November 12 and 14, reportedly by repeatedly pressing the digital door lock at the entrance.

Authorities are treating the matter as a suspicion of attempted trespass. Investigators are currently working to verify the full details of the situation and plan to question Jungkook, the victim, as part of their procedure. It remains unclear if the woman has left South Korea since the alleged attempts.

Part of a Troubling Pattern

This alarming incident is the third attempted intrusion at the singer’s home in a relatively short period:

  • June: A Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested for attempting to enter the premises on the very day of Jungkook’s discharge from his mandatory military service. She later received a suspended indictment.
  • August: Just two months later, a Korean woman in her 40s was apprehended after attempting to break into the property, an incident that was eventually referred to prosecutors on suspicion of stalking and criminal trespassing.

The continuous nature of these incidents highlights a significant challenge in protecting the privacy and security of high-profile K-pop idols.

Jungkook’s Firm Stance

Following the previous incidents, Jungkook had publicly addressed the issue during a live broadcast, making his position on private boundaries very clear. He expressed his disappointment and issued a stern warning to those who attempt to violate his space.

“I was watching everything on my home CCTV,” he stated, reminding people that his residence is heavily monitored. “If you come, I’ll lock you in. Everything is recorded as evidence, and you’ll be dragged away,” he warned, emphasizing that legal action would be taken against all trespassers.

The singer’s statement was a clear effort to draw a firm line between fan support—which he appreciates—and criminal activity, asserting that while his fanbase, ARMY, is like family, unlawful behavior will not be tolerated.

Safety Concerns Escalate

The fact that these intrusions continue despite the singer’s public warnings and prior arrests has intensified calls from his global fanbase for stronger protection measures. The repeated security failures are seen as a serious threat to his well-being, especially given his high global profile.

As the investigation into the Japanese woman continues, the focus remains on ensuring the full safety and peace of mind for Jungkook. The case is a stark reminder of the extreme challenges celebrities face in maintaining a private life in the modern spotlight.
